What - if anything - do you remember from the night you won PPA Editor of the Year?

Just being amazed at being in The Grosvenor House with the whole magazine industry - and even more amazed when my name was called. And then thinking I had to be (slightly) sensible as I was flying to Edinburgh on the very early morning flight the next morning to cover The Highland Show!

What was your favourite single front cover during your time as Editor and why?

Farmers Guardian was news print in those days, so we had some great scoops and pictures, but hard to choose one!

Looking back as a PPA award-winning Editor, what advice would you now give yourself when you were starting out in our industry?

Be enthusiastic and positive about everything you do.
